Abstract

Adolescence is a crucial developmental phase influenced heavily by peers, often superseding parental impact. Peer pressure can yield positive outcomes, such as improved academics, but frequently leads to negative effects like low self-esteem and anxiety. Developing self-efficacy and support networks is vital for teens to navigate peer influence and preserve mental health.
